Understanding T cell immunity in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases

Description
This project is aimed at investigating different lipids that are produced by the human gut microbiota to understand their presentation and recognition mechanism by T cells, in particular, Natural Killer T cells. We would employ X-ray crystallography and biophysical techniques to unravel the molecular interactions underpinning T cell recognition.
