Transcriptional regulators as cancer targets: new models and therapeutic approaches

Description 
Transcriptional regulators play a key role in activating oncogenic pathways that impinge on tumour growth, invasion and mestasasis. We study the role of Mediator kinases CDK8/19 as transcriptional regulators in normal tissue homeostasis and cancer (Sooraj et al., Molecular Cell 2022).
