Description
Workers' compensation is a form of insurance to cover employees if they are injured at work or become sick due to their work. A key goal of workers' compensation is to rehabilitate injured workers and return them to work. Insurers can pay income benefits whilst unable to work, healthcare for rehabilitation, and in some cases additional support services that may help an injured or ill worker to recover. These may include community services, car and home modifications, and household help.
This project seeks to understand who is likely to receive ancillary services, and whether being provided these services are associated with improved recovery.
