Postnatal depression in emergency services workers

Description
Postnatal depression is a prevalent and serious mental health condition impacting many families. Links have been made between prenatal mental health, age, socioeconomic status and education level. To date no research has been undertaken to explore the prevalence of postnatal depression amongst emergency service workers. If emergency service workers are more susceptible to postnatal depression, why, and what can emergency services and/or individuals do to limit occurrence and support those impacted.
