Modulation of NK cell activation by fibroblasts

Description 
Fibroblasts in the lymph nodes are able to regulate differentiation and localization of innate and adaptive immune cells. They are also a primary source of CXCL12 that has been recently shown to regulate NK cell localization is lymph nodes via the CXCL12/CXCR4 axis. The project aims to investigate the effect of fibroblasts in NK cell activation in lymph nodes and investigate the effect such regulation might have on cancer metastasis.
