Improving the evidence for resuscitation in drowning

Description
There is very little evidence underpinning treatment recommendations for cardiac arrest following drowning. It is unclear if treatment recommendations for all cause arrests are appropriate for drowning. This program may include: 1) review ambulance records and access registry data to explore the association of interventions (public, life-saving and ambulance) with drowning outcomes after adjusting for known confounders and illness severity and 2) survey life-saving associations to identify current treatments and variations in practice.
