Description
Traumatic brain injury (TBI) causes cognitive and behavioural changes that impact independence, work, relationships and mental health. This research has already assessed the needs, barriers and facilitators to service delivery for these issues across Australia, including people in rural areas, and culturally and linguistically diverse groups. We will now harness this information to implement best practice guidelines for cognitive and psychosocial rehabilitation after TBI in order to upskill service providers and enhance the experience of individuals with TBI and their close-others in various parts of Australia.
