Impacts of air pollutants on brain and behaviour

Description
This project investigates the neurological effects of natural bushfire exposure on brain cells, with a particular focus on inhibitory neurons. We will examine cellular and molecular alterations in the brain to gain insights into how bushfire exposure affects neural circuits and behaviour. Understanding the neurobiological consequences of bushfire exposure is key to uncovering how environmental stressors influence brain function and contribute to long-term cognitive and emotional outcomes.
