Exploring stakeholder perspectives about using N-of-1 trials and single-case designs in healthcare

Description
This multi-disciplinary research program explores stakeholders' perspectives about using N-of-1 trials and other single-case designs in healthcare. Several stakeholder groups are recruited to participate in interviews or surveys, including healthcare professionals (e.g. general practitioners, physiotherapists, psychologists), patients, ethics board members, biostatisticians, research methodologists/clinical trialists, health research funders, and journal editors. The interviews and surveys are based on the Theoretical Domain Framework and focus on identifying barriers and facilitators to implementing N-of-1 trials and single-case designs in the healthcare context. This project can be completed remotely. For more information about the project, please visit the project webpage linked below.
