Evidence synthesis in climate and health

Description
Responding to the climate crisis and other planetary health problems represents one of the greatest challenges of our time. Based at the Australian Living Evidence Collaboration, Miranda Cumpston co-leads the international Cochrane Planetary Health Thematic Group (https://climate.cochrane.org/), and collaborates with the Monash Health and Climate Initiative (https://www.monash.edu/medicine/health-and-climate), seeing opportunities to inform decisions about health care in the context of planetary health challenges and climate change. Projects may include mapping of existing prioritisation of health and climate research questions in Australia, mapping of international evidence aligned with those priorities, systematic reviews to examine the effectiveness of climate-related health interventions, and collaboration with the international GRADE Project group to explore methods for incorporating planetary health into guideline development.
