I am co-lead of the DNA Screen population DNA screening pilot study (recently completed in 2024): https://dnascreen.monash.edu/.
If you have an interest in ethical, legal and social issues in access to genetic testing and genomic medicine, please get in touch. This covers issues of discrimination, privacy, access to and sharing of genomic information, communication of risk in families etc.
Some qualitative and quantitative projects may be available.
Opportunities may also exist for Honours students who are interested to transition to PhD studies, to continue work into this area.
