Development and testing of a Bionic Eye for the blind

Description
The Monash Vision Group is developing a cortical vision prosthesis to restore vision to the blind. We currently have various projects focussed around the testing of the efficacy of this device, as well as developing supporting hardware. These involve recording neural responses to electrical stimulation of the visual cortex and developing algorithms to decipher the elicited activity as well as the development of a psychophysics test suite to evaluate user performance and vision processing algorithms.
