Co-Designing a Multi-level Intervention for Improving Continuum of Care for Non-Communicable Diseases

Description 
Early diagnosis and management of hypertension and diabetes along with managing risk factors are critical for reducing mortality and morbidity, yet identification, treatment and control of hypertension and diabetes in low- and middle-income countries remains low. Innovative and integrated system-based approaches are urgently required to improve prevention, diagnosis and management of these conditions. HeaRts Intervention Design tArgeting Younger Adults and Ageing Population (HRIDAYA) is a pragmatic hybrid 2 implementation study comprising a multi-level evidence-based co-designed intervention, specifically aimed to improve the continuum of care for NCDs in Nepal. Now recruiting PhD students who are interested in generating real-world impact through their research. Candidates with a mixed -method research or implementation research background are preferred.
