Anti-Sm status and clinical-biological correlates of disease in SLE

Description
Anti-Sm antibodies are present in a proportion of patients with SLE. We have discovered novel mechanisms of disease linked to Sm autoimmunity and HLA, with advanced work on translating this to a novel therapy. Now, we have a need to more deeply explore the associations of anti-Sm positivity with clinical outcomes and biological markers. Using the huge database managed at Monash, linked to thousands of biomarker datapoint, we will deliver this information.
