Description
Generative AI use among university students is now widespread. Universities and education regulators have increasingly adopted AI acknowledgement as standard practice in academic work; however, little is known about how and why tertiary health professions students specifically engage with AI in their studies.
This project will explore how university students use generative AI when completing assessment tasks and the reasons behind their use. It will examine how students' AI practices, confidence, and decision-making have evolved as AI tools have become more widely available. The findings will help inform future assessment design and guidance to support ethical and effective use of AI in higher education.
