Description
The prevalence of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and obesity in pregnancy is increasing in Australia and is associated with substantial maternal and neonatal morbidity.
The overarching aim is to map, gain insights and inform improvement in pre pregnancy and pregnancy care of women with T2DM, by understanding the risks and needs analysis of consumers, stakeholders and clinicians. This project will implement continuous glucose monitoring technology within health models to improve care.
This PhD will provide training in evidence synthesis, qualitative research and implementation science.
